Job Description:
- 3D Modelling & Design: Create complex 3D models of assigned vehicle and attachment systems using PTC Creo. Large Assembly Management: Manage and optimize large assemblies (1,000+ parts), ensuring proper constraints. System Design: Design subsystems, layouts, packaging, and structural parts. Detailing & GD&T: Generate detailed 2D production drawings with strict adherence to ASME Y14.5 standards, applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure proper fitment. Manufacturing Integration: Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Assembly (DFA), specifically focusing on heavy fabrications (welding), castings, and sheet metal parts. Change Management: Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN) and maintain product data within PTC Windchill. Collaboration: Work closely with all internal teams to complete the project on time. PTC Creo Modules: Proficiency in Part Modeling, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Piping/Cabling, and Mechanism Design. Vehicle Knowledge: Basic understanding of loader/telehandler kinematics (lifting cycles, load charts, and stability). Materials: Knowledge of high-strength structural steels and their welding properties.
