<b>Preferred Qualifications</b>
<li> Strong knowledge of CATIA V5/V6: Part Design, Generative Shape Design (GSD), Drafting, Assembly.
The Door & Closure Design Engineer is responsible for end-to-end design, development, and validation of automotive door systems and closure components, ensuring performance, safety, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance. This includes front & rear doors, tailgate/boot, hood/bonnet, fenders, and associated mechanisms. Design complete door systems and closures using CATIA V5/V6 (3D modelling & 2D drafting).Perform feasibility studies, concept creation, section analysis, and DFMEA for doors & closures.</li>
<li>Expertise in GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and dimensional feasibility. Support validation of door system performance: slam tests, regulator performance, window lift, water leakage, wind noise, durability, and fit & finish.</li>
<li>Participate in root-cause analysis and issue closure during DV/PV phases.</li>
