Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Sub System Technical Lead to develop project plans, timelines and allocation of the team’s engineering resources
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays, providing input on solutions & early escalation
  • Manage the procurement of part for testing and builds. Ensure build readiness of parts at mule and pilot phases
  • Manage Change Management process after initial approval through cost collaboration complete
  • Track progress of key coordinated activities such as torque testing & technical cost reduction
  • Manage Product Development Process activities of components. Ensure that tooling start dates & testing dates are maintained and achieved
  • Coordinate with project team members, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports and presentations for stakeholders
  • Support in the evaluation of project performance and the achievement of key milestones
    Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 3-5 years of automotive chassis experience
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & experience presenting to management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced automotive environment
  • Experience in Cradles, Frames, Chassis Structures, Powertrain Mounts, Body Mounts or Hitches
  • Experience in test management or development
