Job Description:

  • Capability to coordinate for safety activities as a part of project safety development
  • Ability to maintain development Interface Agreement(DIA) with customers
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining project safety plan in alignment with project management and engineering departments according to development process
  • Experience in preparing functional safety concepts and technical safety concepts
  • Expertise in derivation of safety requirements from safety concept
  • Ability to define safety strategies for random hardware failure
  • Capability to define system safe states and its transition and perform failure analysis for interfaces
  • Proven experience in leading functional safety meetings with customer
  • Experience in performing quantitative FTA to derive the system failure rate to meet random hardware failure safety target ISO26262 processes as per the ASIL level of product in development
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing test case specification for functional safety validation
  • Ability to interface between customer safety organization and engineering departments for safety related activities
  • Capability to escalate and de-escalate project related issues pertaining to safety Compilation of safety case
  • Sound experience in HARA and DFMEA -> System and Hardware Software ISO26262 processes as per part 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8
  • Experience in Functional safety validation
  • Knowledge of ASIL B, C, or D system
  • Experience with automotive systems development life cycle
