    Job Description:

      Role Overview:
    • The SAP FICO Lead is responsible for leading end-to-end Finance and Controlling processes in SAP (ECC / S/4HANA), driving solution design, implementation, enhancements, and support activities. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, cross-functional SAP teams, and managing offshore/onshore delivery.
      • #### Key Responsibilities
    • Lead SAP FICO design, configuration, and deployment across GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, and integration with MM, SD, PP.
    • Own end-to-end finance processes including Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
    • Act as functional lead for SAP FICO in S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, or AMS engagements.
    • Drive fit-to-standard workshops, blueprinting, and solution validation with business users.
    • Review and approve functional specifications for custom developments and interfaces. Stakeholder & Business Engagement
    • Work closely with Finance, Controlling, and IT leadership to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
    • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex functional issues.
    • Support business during UAT, cutover, go-live, and hyper care phases.
      • Team & Governance
    • Lead and mentor SAP FICO consultants (onshore/offshore).
    • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, governance, and audit requirements.
    • Coordinate with BASIS, ABAP, Security, and Integration teams.
    • Support change requests, impact analysis, and effort estimation.
      • Support & Optimization
    • Handle critical production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
    • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities using S/4HANA innovations.
    • Support month-end/year-end closing activities.
      • Required Skills & Experience
    • Core SAP Skills
    • 8–12+ years of experience in SAP FICO.
      • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • General Ledger (New GL / S/4HANA Universal Journal)
    • Accounts Payable & Receivable
    • Asset Accounting
    • Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
    • Solid integration knowledge with MM, SD, PP.
    • Experience in S/4HANA Finance (mandatory).
    • Implementation Experience
    • Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
    • Experience with global rollouts / multi-country deployments.
    • Knowledge of taxation, localization, and statutory reporting is a plus.
      • Preferred Qualifications
    • SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
    • Experience in AMS, enhancements, and continuous improvement models.
    • Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, or trading industries (nice to have).
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
