Mission Context
  • In the rapidly evolving Mechatronics Systems Engineering, our team leads in innovation adapt to technological advancements like electrification and connectivity, evolving regulations, shifting customer expectations, and stringent quality-cost demands. Under the guidance of the MSCE (Mechatronic Sub-systems Core Engineering) lead, we focus on Car Body Access, Cabin, and Visibility Subsystems. Our expertise encompasses the Development and Integration of Exterior Lighting, Wiping and Washing Systems, Interior Lighting, Seat Postural Comfort, Restraint Systems, and Powered Opening Systems. We functionally report to the Car Body Access Subsystem Architect, ensuring seamless coordination and implementation.
Mission Description The Subsystem Safe Design Engineer is part of the Car Body Access Subsystem’s Design Group. The mission of the Engineer shall include:
  • Guaranteeing cybersecurity, reliability, durability, availability, maintainability and safety for the Subsystem
  • Delivering impeccable work products, demonstrating the securing of the Subsystem via specific methods and tools
  • Ensuring the compliance with ISO 26262 and other Quality Standards
  • Guaranteeing the technical solutions application as converged with the Design and Development Team
  • Reporting on progress & roadblocks and clarifying specific items upon request
  • Contributing to the innovation of projects
  • Identifying improvement path of processes, methods, and tools, and contributing to the respective domain’s experience feedback
  • Contributing to upskilling within their domain
Desired Profile:
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Automotive R&D
  • Extensive experience in Scientific Culture
  • Proficiency in technical scope of Mechatronics and Automotive Industry
  • Good knowledge of ISO 26262 (Road vehicles–Functional safety), ISO 21448 (Road vehicles —Safety of the intended functionality-SOTIF)
  • Methods: PrRA, FSC, TSC, FMEA, Fault Tree, V&V, and Impact Analysis
  • Tools: Medini and PLM Dassault
  • Expertise in Leadership, Autonomy, Adaptability, and Synthesis Ability
  • Skilled in interacting and collaborating in an international ecosystem
  • Effective oral and written expression
Educational Qualification
  • Masters in Engineering or equivalent acquired through experience
